Pakistan’s Education System - 5 Ways to Fix It

Education System -  5 Ways to Fix It

While there are many reasons for this, here we discuss 5 major problems and how we can improve the situation.

System

Unlike the United States, Pakistan's education system is highly dependent on government funding. Children are forced to attend school at an early age in the interest of their parents' economic security.  The 18th amendment of the Constitution abolished the concurrent list of 47 subjects, and the responsibility for education was transferred to the provinces, a move towards greater provincial autonomy.

As a result, the education system in Pakistan is deficient in many ways. The first is that there are not enough government schools to accommodate all children. In the major cities, there are so few government schools that many children cannot even walk to school. In rural areas, the situation is worse. Private schools are unlikely to fill the gap. . The problem is that if a family can afford to send their child to a government school, the school will be overcrowded with children.

The next step to a better education system in Pakistan is supporting academia. The National Curriculum of the country must be the basis of any syllabus.

It should also contain Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) - a way to define what a student should be able to learn from each topic. These are important in guiding students and teachers, and they should help avoid students from relying on just one textbook. Instead, they should chart the entire course of study.

Pakistans Education System

The current government has put forth the idea of a single national curriculum, but the implementation of this idea is stalled. Even if the PTI is aware of the concept, they may not be willing to pursue the idea. In the short term, the government has the ability to assess the current education system, while a new political party may choose to start from scratch and delay the perfecting of the education system. This is why the government has repeatedly pledged to provide free educational services.

The second step is to make sure that the government is not overly conservative, despite the fact that there are many schools that are ineffective. The country should stop ceding the education sphere to foreign countries. By offering superior education options to parents, the government could improve and revitalize its public school system.

Despite these challenges, Pakistan's education system is capable of achieving much more than it does at the moment. Its curriculum is so full that schools often have problems covering everything in a year.

The government is unwilling to invest in the education system and hasn't even attempted to improve the standards of public education. In addition to poor resources, the country lacks basic infrastructure. As a result, Pakistan schools are overcrowded, teachers are underpaid, and textbooks are outdated.

While the government has tried to improve the education system and its quality, the country has been slow in making improvements.

The education system is still largely conservative, especially in rural areas, and there are many problems with the education sector in Pakistan. Its lack of access to basic education has made it a country that is more conservative than most of its Muslim neighbors. The state has a heavy hand in this, and it is essential to keep this in mind as you work towards progress.

. Despite the high level of public education, many people don't believe in the value of formal education and don't try to get an education. Some of these people don't even bother to go to school, and those who do end up there don't even bother. They simply quit school and don't see the point in pursuing a formal degree.

The country's education system is a mess. The educational system in Pakistan is not based on anyone's field. The only fields that are respected in Pakistani society are engineering and medical.

The educational system is not based on the interests of students, but rather on the desires of those in those fields. If the public is interested in improving the education in this country, it should look for private institutions and work with them to improve the quality of education
